How branch assignment works
While MDANZ operates nationally, our support is delivered locally. Through our three main regional branches, we connect members and whānau across Aotearoa with local Fieldworkers, peer support groups, equipment loans, and community events.
Supporting your local branch
While MDANZ membership is 100% free nationwide, each regional branch relies on the generosity and spirit of our local communities. You can support your branch in several ways:
Offer Your Time as a Volunteer: Help out at local events, assist with running coffee mornings, offer administrative support, or share your skills with your regional community.
Optional Annual Donations: Branches may invite members to make a small, optional annual donation to help fund local activities.
Every contribution of time, skills, or financial support directly enables local whānau outings, peer support groups, and member initiatives in your area.
