Get Involved
Give your time, skills & voice
Behind every home visit, support group, and community event is a network of passionate Kiwis giving their time, skills, and voice.
MDANZ was founded by families for families. Whether you have two hours a month to host a local coffee catch-up, want to take on a fundraising challenge, or can lend professional skills, your involvement strengthens our community across Aotearoa.
Local Community Impact: Support families directly in your region (Northern, Central, or South Island).
Flexible Commitments: One-off event volunteering, regular roles, or personal fundraising challenges.
Full Support Provided: Induction, training, and ongoing support from your Regional Branch team.

How to Get Started:
-
Choose an activity that suits your passions. Enter a fun run or marathon, host a morning tea, organise a workplace quiz night, or dedicate your birthday gifts to MDANZ.
-
Set up a personalised online page via Givealittle or Raisely. Upload your photo, set a fundraising goal, and share why supporting MDANZ matters to you.
-
Share your page link on social media, email your colleagues, and invite people to support your challenge.
We can supply posters, social graphics, and MDANZ t-shirts.
-
Online donations go directly to MDANZ and issue immediate tax receipts to your supporters. For cash events, bank your proceeds directly to our national account.
