Free, in-home or virtual visits from an experienced local Fieldworker to help navigate health systems, funding (Whaikaha/ACC/WINZ), equipment, and school or workplace transitions.
Financial Assistance & Grants
Eligibility to apply for discretionary grants through the Bradley Jenkin Memorial Fund for specialised equipment, respite, or unique opportunities not funded by government channels.
Funded Counselling & Wellbeing
Up to 3 free, fully funded 1-on-1 counseling sessions per year for members and primary carers through our partnership with TELUS Health, plus 24/7 access to digital CBT toolkits.
Equipment & Resource Library
Access to our physical lending pool of specialised books, educational media, and adaptive equipment, plus free subscriptions to our flagship In Touch magazine.
Emergency Medical Alert Cards
Personal medical alert cards for your wallet to communicate critical clinical considerations to emergency first responders and hospital teams during medical admissions.

Joining MDANZ is free and easy. Once your application is received, you’ll be connected with your local regional branch (based on where you live), so your local Fieldwork team can welcome you and get support in place.

While membership is completely free, your regional branch may invite you to make an optional annual donation to help support their ongoing local events, morning teas, and community initiatives.
